Project Description
The SLEX TR5 Alignment composes of eight (8) segments which will run parallel to the existing Philippine National Railway, Maharlika Highway and Padre Burgos National Road or Quirino Highway:

SLEX TR5, Segment 1 alignment starts at the termination point of the SLEX Phase II as the Toll Road 4 (TR4) Project at Brgy. Mayao, Lucena City, Quezon and ends at Gumaca, Quezon. The total length of Segment 1 is approximately 61 km. It will include four (4) interchanges (Pagbilao, Atimonan, Aglangan and Gumaca), as well as the toll plazas and operation center that will be necessary for the operation of Segment 1 thereof.
